Candy Barr, Real name Juanita Dale Slusher. Born in 1935 in Texas. The daughter ot a brick layer and harmonica player. She ran away from home when she was 14 and got a job as a cocktail waitress at Barney Weinstein's Theater Lounge in downtown Dallas. At 16 she got a job as a stripper in Jack Rubys vegas club and was spotted by a stag movie producer who featured her in one of his infamous stag films. Smart Aleck.
In 1959 Barr was busted for marijuana possession and sentenced to 15 years in prison. She served over two years, found God and retired from the stripping and porn industries
